Zambian midfielder Joshua Mutale is set to begin a new chapter in his career after parting ways with Tanzanian giants Simba SC, with Power Dynamos and Zesco United reportedly among the clubs interested in signing him.
Simba SC confirmed Mutale’s departure as part of a squad overhaul ahead of the new season, bringing an end to the midfielder’s two-year spell with the Tanzanian Premier League outfit.
The former Young Power Dynamos graduate joined Simba with high expectations after impressing in Zambia. However, he struggled to cement a regular place in the starting lineup and found first-team opportunities limited during his time in Dar es Salaam.
His exit had been widely anticipated following an inconsistent spell at the club.
